A small town art gallery that has lots to offer. It's hard not to fall in love with this gallery at the heart of Sechelt? Besides having great exhibits throughout the year, the Arts Council runs very interesting and engaging programs and is a great supporter of local community events. I've attended many exhibits, concerts, readings, talks, and a drum making workshop at the gallery in the past.

I attended a craft fair sponsored by this organisation and another by a different group renting the hall. It's a nice space with decent lighting and acoustics, well-kept and smells clean (very important when renting a hall!). I have dropped in a number of times in the last year, and it's always lovely here. 🙂 Come during an exhibit!

I really enjoy stopping in at the the sunshine Coast Arts Council building to admire the fruits of local artists labours as there is always a new exhibit to check out... I personally have displayed my work there and was astonished by how fast my art was sold. I will look forward to approaching the council again soon when I have added enough to my portfolio and I am positive I will be welcomed warmly when the time is right.
