All the staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. Despite the hotel looking a bit older, the rooms were a bit snug but clean, & lobby/continental breakfast area was bright and clean. There was ample parking although some of the guests didn't know how to park respectfully. The location was amazing. Right off the hwy, with a bakery & cafe, brewery with live music and a distillery & food trucks right across the street. Will def stay here again.

Room #110 is large enough for two queen beds. Clean , bright!
Staff are wonderful , friendly!
The out side of the building is showing some age , but I came here for a 1-2 wk stay for work.
I was looking for a reasonable rate because it is June 20 th … so it’s summer time rates.
Which were the cheapest by far for up to 60 km of here.
Bathroom is bright and very clean.
I’ll be happy here.
Outside noise … I heard nothing last night.
Microwave, fridge, coffee machine, all the same as any hotel.

Hailey at the front desk was awesome!! Rooms are very basic and beds were small. We were their for a wedding so thankfully we didn’t spend much time in the room.||Breakfast is cereal, yogurt and tea and coffee. Definitely rough around the edges.||It’s ok for a few nights but I wouldn’t stay much longer than that. Rooms were reasonably clean and there’s a great bakery across the street.

Absolutely disgusting place to stay. Room was dirty and looked like it was cleaned in over a month. Stains on the curtains pillows and floor. Ants in the room sugar all over the coffee station and stuff left on the bench from the previous person that stayed there. We tried to get our money back for the one night and they only gave us $100 back but still owe us $154.15 the manger ( who was so rude) said to take it up with Expedia but we didn't pay through Expedia we paid the super 8. She is a lair and told me that you agreed to the $100 back and that is that. Also the fire extinguishers were all expired. We went up the road to the best western (CVI) and it was like night and day. Super friendly clean room and only $15 per night more.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel.

I arrived at Super 8 in Duncan around 9 PM with a fully prepaid booking through Expedia ($374.39, confirmed by email and my credit card statement). The man at the front desk insisted I hadn't paid and rudely demanded I pay again. I showed him all proof (Expedia confirmation and my TD bank app), but he refused to acknowledge it.

After nearly an hour on the phone with Expedia, they confirmed the hotel had failed to charge the virtual Mastercard provided for prepaid bookings. Only then did the hotel finally charge Expedia's card.

But the story gets worse. He then asked for a credit card for the damage deposit. Later, I noticed a charge of $287.14 on my card — not a pending authorization, but a full charge. I went back to the desk, and the same staff member again claimed this was for the room. I had to re-explain everything again, which felt insulting after the earlier mess.

Another staff member overheard and stepped in, claiming the $287.14 was just a deposit and would be refunded in 3–5 business days. It’s now been 4 days, and I still don’t have my money back — the charge remains posted, not pending.

This was an exhausting, frustrating, and unprofessional experience. I’ll be disputing the charge with my bank and considering legal action. I urge management to take responsibility and ensure staff are properly trained.

Until then, I strongly recommend avoiding this location.

I travel a lot for work. 8 hotel rooms a month. The room was not clean and was broken down. Locks loose in the doors, dirty door sill. Gross patio. Bathroom tub and vanity dirty. Dishes in room had fingerprints. Deck needs a few pressure washes. Door hardware barely screed on. Dont sit on the chairs outside unless you have had your tetnus short. But truly the Check in/out staff were very friendly and very fast.

I am deeply disappointed and honestly at a loss for words regarding my experience at the Super 8 in Duncan.
One of the first issues I encountered was that the fridge in my room stopped working during the last two nights of my stay. I reported the problem to the front desk multiple times, but nothing was done before I checked out. As a result, some of my food spoiled. It’s unacceptable that such a basic issue something that should have been identified by housekeeping or during routine inspections was completely ignored. Even after I brought it up directly, there was no follow-up or resolution.
Another major problem was how misleading the online photos were. The images I saw while booking, and even those attached to my reservation confirmation, looked nothing like the actual rooms. I changed rooms twice, and in both cases, the rooms did not resemble the pictures at all. It’s incredibly frustrating to receive a booking confirmation that includes completely unrelated or outdated images. It felt deceptive.
The overall situation became so frustrating that I ended up canceling the last two nights of my five-night stay and moving to another hotel, even though it meant staying farther from where I needed to be in Duncan. I simply couldn't justify spending another dollar at Super 8.
I sincerely hope the management takes steps to improve but I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this location to others.
