Whenever I have a special occasion, I order from Mel. Her creativity is out of this world and her creations have always exceeded my expectations. I ordered a strawberry champagne Harry Potter cake for a friend's birthday and it was so delicious I still think about it.

I had never used, let alone heard of tastebuds Bakery Co before - but really wanted to support a local ( not a chain) bakery business and ordered a baby shower cake. Melena did an amazing job; she delivered on the vision and worked with me to make sure that her cake was decorated to bring together the theme. 5 stars for that. 5++++ stars for taste.

Just picked up our cake for my sons second birthday!! It was extremely cute and man oh man was it tasty!! Communication was spot on we got exactly what we ordered and the cake was ready right on time !! Highly recommend and my son was so happy to see such a beautiful cake!

Amazing !
I came across her profile on IG. We’ve actually never met in person, that’s how trustworthy she is.

She is so accommodating ! I always give her creative freedom for my orders and everything she turns out is incredible. The first picture I simply said “my mom likes nature & flowers”. We loved how it turned out! The flavours are unreal.

I often order for a group of construction workers in Barrie - they LOVE IT and look forward to it every time I order!

Her flavours are creative, they are delicious !
She’s kind and understanding, works well with your budget too!

Don’t skip out on her savoury items. She is constantly adding new things to her menu.

The Harry Potter hot chocolate bombs arrived and the presentation was fantastic. From the outside of the box to the details on everything inside. That said, they didn't taste very good; sour and minty, so we couldn't finish them. It was fun, but for $55 I wouldn't order again. I had also sent two inquiries about my order and didn't receive a response to either of them.

I’ve used Tastebuds Bakery for a couple of baked goods orders, and I have to say that each time the goodies (lemon blueberry cake and apple crumble) were absolutely amazing! The cakes were moist and flavourful, nothing was too sweet or overpowering, and Melena is very truthful about answering questions about quantity to order based on party size. I’ve gotten tons of compliments from anyone who’s had their baked dishes.

Mel is one of the most creative and hard working bakers I know. Not only have I witnessed her excel as a independant business owner, but I got to work along side her in the kitchen! She is extremely talented and passionate about her art (aka baking). 10/10 would recommend, you are in good hands!
