I absolutely love that a place like this exists for kids as young as 5 yrs old! The lady(ies) here that run the place are so amazing and imo, the classes are super affordable! Check this place out if you or your child or someone you know is into wood working 👍 again, so grateful 🙏

Review for The Builder’s Den Teen Woodworking Class

My son absolutely loves being part of the Den! The teen woodworking class has been an incredible experience for him—he’s not only learning real skills but also gaining confidence in his abilities. The instructors are amazing—patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what they do. They make the Den fun and engaging while ensuring every student feels supported. My son is always excited to go hang out and get creative at the Den. Highly recommend this class for any teen interested in woodworking!

Great place for teens who enjoy building! My son has learned so much from Tanya and company in a short amount of time. He is confident in using all the tools on his own. This is such a great atmosphere! We felt welcomed since we walked in the door!

The owners of the Builders Den have done a great job of setting it up. The shop has all the tools one needs for personal projects. It is clean and organized. There is ample room to work. It is a friendly and enjoyable place to work on projects of all kinds. If you looking for a place to do some projects, I recommend the Builders Den located in Spruce Grove.

My 10 year old has taken 2 series of wood-working classes here now, she really enjoyed it, and was very comfortable. She usually doesn’t do classes (we homeschool), and was very nervous to start. But the ladies at Builder’s Den have been so friendly and inviting and chill. It’s been great to see my daughter’s self-confidence grow 🙂 thank you!!

Highly recommend!! Love that they have classes for my 7 year old. He is attending weekly classes, the owners are so patient and organized. We love that he can learn all this stuff in a safe environment! 10/10 - very affordable and such a great life skill.

My son loves this place. Even though we have the same tools at home, there is independence at the builders den and support from a non parent! The teen group is our weekly hang out: on month 3.
