I only found this place through Google maps. They are not on major booking sites.
The place is super cute with friendly service. The room was clean and cozy. I slept on the couch and my aunt had the bed and we had great sleeps. And the coffee was really good.

The cherry on top: the sound of train whistles in the distance (unexpected as I didn't know the strike was over).

I will highly recommend Cedars Motel for all my friends and family traveling to Vancouver Island from Edmonton. It's a perfect stop.

This place is an absolute GEM! They are so friendly, cute and clean. The rooms feel like a little home away from home and provides everything you could need to be completely comfortable away from home. More than just a room with a bed and a chair, it had everything you would need to cook a full meal!!. Wonderful location with the grocery store 2 doors away and all other amenities with in 15min walk. They also allowed our little dog and he loved it there too! After we returned home we received to most lovely personal thank you card which was a delight! This is now our new place to stop as we travel from AB to BC often and next time we are gonna stay a couple of days for sure. Thank you for a lovely stay.

About 100$ a night in the winter period. You get a lot of kitchen appliances and a small table. Nice and comfortable. You can hear the neighbours WC fan, but other than that, it’s not too noisy.

This cute little motel saved us when our car broke down in Sicamous. They gave us a clean reasonably priced room, let us stay past checkout until our car was fixed, helped us deal with an unconventional issue, and even gave the kids some extra snacks for the road when we left.

Very friendly staff. Perfect spot to walk and explore the town. Our kids loved the cabin vibes.

The only thing I would complain about is the strong scent of the laundry products on the linens and towels. I know this will not make a difference for people who use scented products, but those who use unscented products will probably be bothered by it.

I stayed at The Cedars both coming and going on a recent road trip from Vancouver Island to Alberta, a trip I’ve made many times and overnighted in many spots. This place is exceptional.

The rooms are amazing, particularly for a “motel”. Attractive, comfortable, and spotlessly cleaned. So much attention to detail with many personal touches, including bottles of non-institutional shampoo and conditioner in the shower, filled ice cube trays, soft absorbent towels, and lovely dishes in the kitchen. Even the exterior is neat and tidy, with some green space and high quality patio furniture outside each room.

I travel with a small dog and while they are particular about approving dog visits, there is a lawn space at the library next door perfect for tossing a ball and early morning bathroom spots.

The owner and the on-site manager are friendly and helpful. There is no smoking/vaping allowed on the property. The wi-fi is excellent.

Honestly, I could go on and on about all this little motel has to offer, but I also have to comment on the cost. SO LOW. The value for money here is incomparable anywhere in the Okanagan and surrounding area.
