I was passing through and heard this was the best spot in town for lunch — and they definitely did not disappoint! I had the pulled pork sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. Our server was so friendly and welcoming, and the whole vibe of the restaurant is just great. There’s plenty to look at without feeling cluttered, and a good number of TVs if you want to catch some sports. I will definitely go back again if I get the chance to.

Pork schnitzel is fantastic and a huge portion for 16$ on Saturdays , and wings are always good, especially the house blend .
One of the only good places to eat in Okotoks !

The George is hands down one of the best spots in Okotoks. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between classy and welcoming—it feels like a place you can go for both a casual night out or something a little more special. The food is outstanding every time—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The cocktails are top-notch too, and the staff know their menu inside and out, always happy to make recommendations. They hand you the menus before you sit down which made it felt off . The menu looked dirty with old drink rings and food splatter on it. 😞

Its ok. The fries were really good though! The beef dip had a little too many onions, and i love lots of onions but this was to many . In all the sandwich wasnt bad .. it just felt like it wss missing some flavor . But it wasnt bad quality. Again I liked the fries.

They only gave us one drink , not even waters lol . No refills on pops, I guess ? They dont ask how the food is going or if we would like another drink 😞, Only saw the server to order at the start and to pay , maybe they didnt like us ? Im thirsty . 😩 lol

Atmosphere was .. weird , to be honest I felt uncomfortable. I wouldn't wanna sit inside there as it was so dark .

Sadly we never got to experience this restaurant even though we had a reservation . As we had travelled into Okotoks from Sask, and wanted to ensure we would have a table I called ahead and made a reservation as this was going to be a celebratory meal, and the reviews were awesome! When we arrived I told the bartender we had a reservation and he said well just sit anywhere. So we proceeded into dining area and sat down. Then our hostess came to our table and abruptly said “ this sections closed you need to move” although there were people sitting around us. I said well we do have a reservation and she bluntly replied “ doesn’t matter just move” So we moved, sat and thought about it and decided this wasn’t a place we wanted to support after being talked to like that, so we left. Sorry that we never got to try the food but seriously , We were so disappointed

We’ve been to the George a few times and it never disappoints. Today our server was Lucy and she was awesome! They had their first brunch day today and my husband had the steak and eggs and loved it. I had the steak sandwich with the spinach salad and it was DELICIOUS!!
