The evening was lovely, the ambience in the room was wonderful, and the service excellent! My favorite dishes were the squash and chestnut soup as well as the Bloody Mary shrimp. The bison was very good, but the monkfish was a bit chewy and fishy for my taste. A wonderful way to spend a New Year’s Eve.

Such a pretty venue with staff that makes you feel like you’re one of the family. Randy and his staff hosted our wedding mid June and surprisingly what was supposed to be an outdoor wedding had to change when wind and torrential rain were in mother natures plans! They offered other options and seamlessly made the new plan happen and we had a lovely day regardless. We’ve enjoyed both a pop-up dinner as well as our own rehearsal and wedding meals provided by Xavier and his team and everyone is still saying it’s the best wedding food they have had and that no one could finish their generously sized meal but somehow wished there were seconds! Everything was perfectly orchestrated, with friendly helpful lovely people running a gem of a venue who could ask for more! And now they know they can host a small wedding reception and ceremony inside if they need to!! Thank you to everyone at The Ridge for helping make our day so memorable! Shannon & Evan

We had a wonderful visit. Randy is very nice and has a beautiful place to visit. The rooms are spotless and the devote is first class. Very comfortable, lots of towels. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

We recently went to a pop up dinner which I was very excited for!
The location is so beautiful and we were out in a big tent which was lovely.
After a few drinks we were ready to eat. Our first course came 1 1/2 hours after we got there which is a long time.
There was probably half an hour between it and our main meal which is fine.
The food however was the most delicious I have ever had!
The attention to detail and flavour was second to none!
Our server Larry was great and it was nice to talk to Randy the owner just before we left.
Perhaps the wait is "normal" but some complimentary bread sticks or after dinner liqueur would've made this a 5 star experience! 😊

We recently had our wedding at the Ridge, and we can't speak highly enough of our experience.

First, Randy is a pleasure to work with. He makes us feel like family through each of our visits to the property, and he goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is worth remembering.

Chef Xavier is a master at his craft - people will be talking about the food long after the day is done. He works with you to design a menu that is specific to you, and the food turns out better than you could have imagined it being. We placed our full trust in Chef Xavier and we were not disappointed in the slightest.

The support staff at the Ridge were extremely generous and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the day. They were kind and understanding, not to mention professional, to all of our family and guests.

All in all, we couldn't be happier to have had our special weekend at the Ridge, and we look forward to attending pop-up dinners to relive that day. Thanks again to Randy, Xavier, and everyone else at the Ridge - we consider them a part of the family after two years of planning.

We can’t say enough about our stay at The Ridge. We spent the night after having our wedding reception there. The food was amazing, so fresh, the chef/owner Xavier Lacaze is a genius with his food pairings and presentation, the food was so delicious and all our guests raved about it. The atmosphere of the dining room was beautiful, just the right ambiance for our celebration. Our rooms were beautifully made up, bed was very comfortable and bedding smelt amazing. We had use of the common area with water, coffee/tea supplied, and the view of the Rocky Mountains, amazing. We highly recommend staying here. Also, they have Pop Up Dinners that you can attend, if you are in the area, make sure you get a reservation, I know we will the next time we are in Okotoks. Thank you Randy, Laura, Xavier and Larry for a great memory.

We hosted a dinner party at The Ridge for a group of our close friends and it was absolutely incredible. The four course meal was amazing and honestly some of the best food we have ever had in Canada. Each course was perfectly paired with a wine and the chef gave a beautiful summary of each pairing before we started each course. Randy took care of all the planning, including the most beautiful table setting. We would highly recommend booking The Ridge for any special occasion when you would like a first class dining experience. Our guests and us were all blown away by the quality of service.

The Ridge is beyond comparison. The moment we arrived through the gate, up the tree lined driveway, and crossed the creek stones to get to the Solarium, we were transported to paradise. One complete with romantic ambience, fine cuisine, and 5-star service. We celebrated our 10th Anniversary here with a private dinner and I highly recommend it. Enjoy the sunset and the expansive views of the rolling Foothills. Randy made the booking process simple and exciting. Chef Xavier’s dishes were the best food ever tasted. Our server was outstanding and we so appreciated everything!
