Spotlessly clean, very quiet, super friendly service. Rooms are well designed and a good size. If you're fine with one queen bed, ask for the right oms with the sitting area. Otherwise there is a desk and chair on one side and easy chair on the other, and no good place to watch TV or enjoy takeout. Lots of good food within a block or two, especially the Chinese cafe.
If I have one request...the hotel could use better TV options and steaming service.

What a fabulous hotel in what some would call 'the middle of nowhere'. Many tourists come to see the pedestrian suspension bridge over the Souris River, but I wonder how many stay for a night in this quaint prairie town. The staff was phenomenal. We had a good chat about Souris, our connections to the town and of course the old versus new suspension bridge. The hotel just happened to be having a fire drill during our evening stay. We easily got around that by making sure we were out to dinner during that time. The room was not very big but was more than adequate. Very quiet night, slept comfortably. We were presented with a hot breakfast along with the usual continental assortment. On our way out the next very foggy morning we were presented with a sighting of the town Peacock! Will recommend this gem of a place to anyone I know heading that way.

Fantastic stay all around. I had an anxious puppy with me and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and perfectly laid out (and with no carpet! ). The room was right by the side door on the first floor which made outside accessibility a breeze. The towels were soft, the beds were great and the pet bowls etc. Were a nice touch. The breakfast room was clean and well stocked. We ended up have to stay 3 nights (instead of 1) and were happy to call The Souris Hotel home. 5 stars are not enough.

Absolutely loved this small town hotel! The room layout was unique and is now my new favorite layout! We shared our room with friends and it was so nice to feel like we had our own space/room with a shared bathroom. The rooms were spotless, the duck was a cute addition to the shower (which, btw, had pretty amazing pressure). The beds were comfortable and the reception staff were so friendly with our super late (midnight) check in. My only complaint (and I had to think hard for this one) is that the Raisin Bran cereal didn’t have any raisins! ? However, the proximity to an amazing bakery (Minary), a fantastic coffee shop (49 Degrees)and the delicious and super friendly wood fired pizza place more than made up for the raisin free, Raisin Bran. Will absolutely stay again and will be recommending to anyone who visits Souris or the vicinity!

We enjoyed our stay at the Souris Hotel. The room was comfortable & clean & we appreciated the Keurig in the room as well as the mini fridge. We had the hot breakfast which was an egg sandwich & dollar chips. I personally would have preferred a hash brown pattie but it was still fine. There were other options as well which were very good. Staff we dealt with were very friendly & polite! We would recommend the hotel to others.

The service was "Fantastic".
We arrived early and they took us in early as the room was cleaned and available
They accommodated us and our Puppy.
The pup was treated like a King.
Definitely like how the rooms are set up.

We would recommend the Souris Hotel to all our friends.

The whole thing experience from check in to check out was exceptional. Rooms were very nice and clean and the breakfast sandwich was very nice touch. Everyone was polite and courteous. Recommend to everyone.

Clean and big rooms. The rooms feel like 2 rooms they are separated in the middle with a bathroom got your own tv per bed. Nice place to stay when working out or town or travelling. Lots of cool stuff to do within walking distance
