Our two daughters started with Tir na nOg 1 year ago and watching them develop their dancing skills in such a supportive environment has been amazing. You can tell Niamh really enjoys what she does and that she is extremely good at it. Her and the other dancers welcomed our daughters and they’ve made some great friends. Overall great experience. Tir Na nOg Irish Dance Academy is a positive, warm and inviting dance community. My daughter has learned so much in just one year and has participated in so many fun and new experiences. The dancers are all so encouraging and supportive of one another. Being a part of Tir Na nOg has given my daughter confidence and the determination to learn a dance that is both beautiful and challenging. Niamh (director) is second to none with her engaging spirit, expertise and enthusiasm for Irish dance. Tir na nOg Irish Dance Academy is a fantastic school. Niamh Webster promotes an atmosphere of encouragement, love, respect and dedication, to each of the children she teaches. Her energetic nature, hard work, positive and loving attitude enables my girls to strive for their best. My girls love dancing and miss it when they are not in regular practice. We moved to the area 2 years ago and have 2 daughters enrolled at Tir na nOg. Right from the beginning Niamh was so warm and welcoming . We came from having our kids in other competition sports and had no background in dance whatsoever.

Right from the day we walked through the doors our daughters became part of an amazing special family . Through COVID restrictions Niamh constantly pivoted to ensure the kids still had high quality programming even if it was online .

What I love the most about Tir na nOg as a parent is the clear and concise communication. We have an amazing dance portal for payments that is easy to use . Niamh is exceptional at providing step to step instructions for events , classes etc and in doing so answers questions that you didn’t even know you had . She will send emails, videos that are so helpful and easy to understand.

We have 4 children and have had them in countless sports and activities over the years and I can honestly say they have never received the same level of caring and attentiveness that they have received at Tir. No story is too silly from our 4 year old , and Niamh and her honest compassion has brought out our shy 14 year old into wanting to be on stage and loving Irish dance .

We recommend Tir na nOg 100 % to anyone that asks , it was the best decision we made for kids .

This is a beautiful place to learn so much more than dance although Irish dance in itself is such a pleasure to watch. My daughter has enjoyed learning it so much. At Tir na nOg you learn about team work, self worth, kindness, confidence and community. Niamh is amazing, inspiring and a true leader.

Our daughter has been dancing at Tir na nOg for 3.5 years. She loves it. Niamh has created a great learning environment that focuses on fun, working toward personal goals, taking responsibility for yourself and being part of a community. I commend her for how she has managed the dance studio through the constant change and uncertainty related to COVID restrictions. At the start she arranged for classes to occur online so the kids could keep dancing. When it was possible to meet in person again, she did what was necessary to make that happen. Thanks Niamh for all that you do to enable the kids to keep dancing and connecting with their friends through this difficult season. Your efforts and dedication do not go unnoticed. Our daughter has been dancing with Tir na nOg Dance Academy for three years now. Not only has she been mastering Irish dance steps with absolute enthusiasm but she is also gaining confidence in her own abilities and self esteem in an environment that has been and continues to be supportive, safe, and encouraging.
These past few years with the COVID-19 pandemic have certainly been challenging for all of us on many levels. However, with respect to the dance academy, Niahm did her very best to keep the enthusiasm for dance alive and well. Between on-line classes, smaller in person class sizes, and even offering semi-private lessons Niahm has accommodated everyone's needs. Having auto-immune compromised and inter-generational family members within our family unit there has been a need to ensure increased vigilance with respect to COVID-19. Niahm has went out of her way to ensure that all safety measures have been addressed , complied with , and even encourages and reminds our daughter to keep her mask on!!.
Our years with this dance academy have been wonderful and we would encourage others to come and join in with the fun and be apart of a very welcoming and special dance family.!!!
