My instructor Saqib was very knowledgeable and helpful during my whole process from learning and getting confident behind the wheel to completing and passing my g2 test! I got less stressed behind the wheel and the lessons are very well out together. I had a nice experience and would recommend this driving school to anybody looking for lessons or courses!

I had a wonderful experience with Top Star driving school! They helped me pass my G test and I also did the 4 day course! They had reasonable prices and were very helpful with any questions I had or any help with driving techniques like parallel parking!

Signed up my son for the driving course. Online sessions and 10 in car lessons. My son passed the G2 on his first try, which is great and why I am giving a passing mark.

The reason for the low score is the in-car lessons. The instructors are allowed to charge an hourly rate for lessons, so those students are given priority. It was extremely difficult to book lessons, and the times we were given were mainly set last minute or for early in the morning (7:30 / 8:00). We would ask for 3 sessions in a week and were told to call back because the instructor didn’t have his schedule or was fully booked. This was a lie because during that same week, we called to complain and were able to book with him for the next day.

We were also told before signing up that our son could be picked up from school and dropped off at the house. When booking the lessons, we were told that all pick ups and drop offs must happen at the house, otherwise, the instructor wouldn’t take the lesson.

We expressed our concerns to the school several times and they did end up helping, but it took several calls and complaints before we were able to get everything sorted out.

The driving instructor only wants to deal with your child, I suppose this is a way to get what he wanted because how many young drivers will fight back on scheduling? They trust the instructor as they would a teacher. We were constantly on our son to book his in-car lessons more frequently and believed it was his fault. It took a few weeks before we found out what the real issue was.

The school either needs to pay the instructors more for students that take the full course, or provide a complete 10 in-car lesson schedule and enforce it with the instructors. This was a major issue for us as it delayed our son getting an exam time. He could have done the driving test a month earlier if we were able to book the in-car lessons when we requested them.
