Well THAT was so much more than I expected! Shoutout to Quinn and Serena for being not just incredibly helpful and informative but also delightful. What great representatives for this sweet little town. There is a MUSEUM in there, too. Check out both sides of the visitor center. One side is a historic representation of the building as it was when it was a railroad depot. The other side is full of taxidermied animals from the area, dinosaur bones, a mammoth tusk and all manner of paraphernalia from times past.
Nice gift shop with items from local artists.
Oh - and of course tons of info and maps for the area and beyond. Thanks!!!

A must stop if you want to learn about the history, find information of things to do, maps, guides etc. This staff & the literature, maps they have for travelers is the best I've seen! The Staff is SO HELPFUL, friendly & have a sense of humor. We went 2 days in a row to ask questions about the area. Top NOTCH visitor center

The ladies in the visitor center were very friendly and helpful.
We got lots of information and some great Canadian maps!
The sticker prices are good.
There was room to pull in with our 38' class A w/ toad.

My father and I are driving the Alaskan Highway from Dawson Creek all the way up to Alaska. The hostess Heather had lots of useful information to give us, include road conditions, potential outages in cell reception, and what services were open. If you’re planning a trip up the highway, be sure to stop by and get the best info.
