AVOID THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!
My boyfriend started classes on March 31st of this year. What was supposed to be a 5 week course has become a 14 week nightmare! Between not having enough staff in the first place, to things constantly having to be cancelled due to people quitting every other week (I am not being dramatic) The school was supposed to be 1 week of classroom time, and the next 4 weeks were supposed to consist of the driving hours and by the end of these 5 weeks he should have had his class 1 licences. Here we are 14 weeks later and still having to argue with them to even book his road test. He even took the booking of his test into his own hands, and they still refuse to work with him. The driving instructors are very knowledgeable and taught him a lot, but everything else has been way more hassle than it's worth.

I successfully obtained my Class 1 driving license on my first attempt with the support of TTCC. The instructors at TTCC are excellent — their teaching methods are highly effective, clear, and professional.

However, the scheduling department needs significant improvement. Classes are often canceled at the last minute, and students are not informed properly about when sessions will be held or rescheduled. This causes unnecessary inconvenience and uncertainty.

I sincerely request TTCC to improve their scheduling system to match the high standards set by their instructors.

Thank you.

This review is specifically for the heavy equipment operator course in Moncton, NB

First, though, shout out to my instructor Trev. He was awesome and knowledgeable and definitely doesn't deserve the stress placed on him from a poorly organized business.

My experience here was poor, and this particular training location is very unprofessional. The facility and the heavy equipment are definitely far from "state of the art" as they advertise.

Let's start with the classroom facility. It's about the size of an average residential garage with the addition of a basement located in a parking lot for local industrial business buildings such as a brewery. It's old, its cramped and it's shared with an office where there would be people coming in and out or talking on the phone while we were trying to concentrate on the learning material being presented.

The actual training field for the equipment is located TWO HOURS outside of Moncton in a town called Sussex, NB. WHY?! The classroom facility and training field should be in one area.

The equipment was filthy, there was literally mouse droppings and nesting materials inside the equipment. Particularly the dozer, the headliner inside the cab was sagged down with a bunch of nesting material poking through it. As for the training itself, it left more to be desired. Although I left feeling confident in my own abilities to operate the equipment, (Thanks to my instructor). I don't feel the course gave much "real world" construction experience or replicated any real world senerios. For example, during field training for the excavator. We practiced how to trench and backfill while remaining basically in one spot. Nothing else. I would of liked to practice more techniques such as sloping, building benches or loading trucks just to give a few examples.

After the first 3 weeks of my 4 week program, I was told that my training is being held back a week because the instructor got scheduled back in the classroom. A clear lack of planning and resources on the business end that's cuasing stress and delay for instructors and the students.

My completion date was June. 13th 2025. I was told I'd have my certificate within 2 weeks, it didn't come. I contacted them 4 separate times asking what the delay was, I was told they'd get on it, but still no certificate. Fed up at this point, I contacted my lawyer. Then, finally, after threatening legal action, I recieved my certificate within a couple of hours.

I'm highly disappointed with this training institute and don't reccomend it to anyone due to mismanagement.

Not having a very good experience, suppose to be 5 week course. I'm 7 weeks and only 9 hours driving of the 51 . The instructors are top notch . Sadly they over book classes on top of classes . I feel bad for the instructors.
No trucks or trailers when I was up last week since management couldn't take the time to return my calls . 2 weeks no calls , this is not acceptable, one guy drove from miramichi 2 days in a row to get sent home because of no truck to drive .

Our son attended in April 2025. The trainer was very knowledgeable. The administration was more difficult to maneuver. We had to chase details for registration, schedules and payment. Afterwards we were told we would get his certificate within 2 weeks. We didn’t. We called in May, they said they would send along, they didn’t. We’ve called twice in June same story. For the cost there is quite the lack of professionalism.

Dear Transport Training Centres of Canada Driving School Team,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone at the school, particularly to my driving instructor, Bob Fournier, and the entire staff.

The training and guidance I received at the Transport Training Center of Canada Driving School laid the foundation for my successful career as a class 1 truck driver. Bob's expertise, patience, and support played a significant role in my journey. His instruction not only taught me the skills required to operate a commercial vehicle but also instilled in me the confidence and professionalism necessary to excel in this field.

It's been five months since I started working as a flatbed trailer truck driver, and I'm proud to say that I've been able to apply the knowledge and skills I gained from the school to my daily work. Crossing Canada to the US and vice versa has been a challenging yet rewarding experience, and I attribute my success to the solid training I received.

Please extend my thanks to the entire staff for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to producing skilled and competent drivers. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have learned from such a reputable institution and look forward to continuing my career as a professional truck driver.

Once again, thank you to Bob Fournier and the entire Transport Training Centres of Canada Driving School team for your invaluable contribution to my career.

Sincerely,
Ramon
