I’m currently taking my AZ course through TTCC, and I have to say Shawn White is an incredible instructor. From day one, he’s gone above and beyond to make sure every student fully understands the material. His teaching style is clear, supportive, and engaging, which made a huge difference for me. After just the first week, I felt confident enough to take my written test - and I passed with no problem. Shawn truly cares about his students’ success and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated instructor, Shawn is the one you want. Highly recommend!

Why?
I found out TTCC Instructor Shawn White was teaching the course. He has the expertise and depth of knowledge to help relate the course material so you can understand and apply it. He does everything he can to ensure his students understand.

Ok, redemption. See below for timeline and situation.
Had my training sessions rebooked for Mar 18 & 19, along with a road test (19 Mar25) to which I subsequently PASSED without issues.
I would like to thank Shawn WHITE (my trainer) for his dedication, efforts and especially his vast knowledge of his craft - and he has mastered it.
My doubts in TTCC has been restored! This was, in large part, for Shawn’s expertise and guidance. He knows the test requirements and the curveballs that can be thrown.
Thanks also to Christine and Alicia for their determination in rectifying this nightmare.

**Stuff can happen which I get, but it’s how they recovered and restored my faith in the training provided which is key.

**rebooked for a couple weeks from now. Standby for outcome. ***Terrible. CANCELLED MORNING OF TRAINING AND DAY BEFORE ROAD TEST.
I have had to drive this process along. After being given excuses after excuses, I was provided a date of today for training and tomorrow for a road test. I was called THIS MORNING (3rd Feb 2025) as their imaginary AR truck wouldn’t start - in spite of having a conversation with the manager last week assuring me the (imaginary) truck would be here.
I have FULLY PAID for the course $2200 and starting over somewhere puts me so much further behind.
Stay away from this place.
Waiting for solutions….

Absolutely professional!!!

I've been to meny training sessions/classes and this one is by far the best experience I've had.
I had the pleasure of having Shawn white as my instructor he truly shows what it means to be a professional. showing and teaching with integrity and confidence. Shows great ability to simplify lesson to make sure the everyone is attended too and have a great understanding of what he's explaining even goes above and beyond to share his personal experience. I can say with his help I know I will have the proper knowledge and understanding of what it takes to be professional driver. And gives me hope for the future of this incredible industry...

Currently taking my online AZ training with trainer Shawn White, and he has been one of the best teachers I’ve had! The man is extremely knowledgeable and personable which makes learning from him pleasant and easy. I have a hard time learning online, I much prefer in-class, but his zoom class has been useful, and he is able to explain things multiple different ways to help someone understand, which helps someone like me who usually needs audio and visuals of what I’m learning. Some of the material being covered is dry material but he makes learning this stuff engaging and gives amazing examples. He is also going more in depth than just what’s in the book which is great, giving us some real life experiences and knowledge. He obviously is an excellent trainer and very well respected, and for good reason. Very happy to have him for my in-class learning. I’m hoping that my practical trainer carries the same drive and want to teach as Shawn does. He absolutely does his best, cares, and wants to make sure that his students fully understand the material and wants us to be the best that we can possibly be. Looking forward to the second week of in-class!

Shawn White is the teacher that any good student wants to impress. The experience, professionalism, expertise and teaching skills are very rare for a single person to have. You as a student would be hard pressed to find another teacher or instructor that can match this gentleman's expertise in Teaching and driving with such an emphasis on safety. It's is very evident that this man truly cares about the industry he works in. Shawn White cares very much about the quality of drivers and operators in the industry, and it shows. I am very happy and thoroughly satisfied with the training i am receiving.

I am currently taking my AZ course and Shaun White is my instructor. I've taken a lot of training in my years and I have never had an instructor that is so passionate about what he does.
Shawn is extremely thorough.
He explains everything in great detail and in so many different ways to make sure that you understand and grasp what you are learning. On top of that he brings in 30 plus years of experience in the industry and gives multiple examples and things that he's gone through personally to help you understand the importance of what you are getting into.
His main priority is to train the next generation of professional drivers.
To be professional drivers again!
