I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with this school. Communication has been terrible — I often went weeks without any updates and had to constantly follow up just to get basic information. It felt like I was bothering them just to stay informed.
When I enrolled, I was told the program would take 4–6 weeks. That was in June, and now I’m not scheduled to finish until September. This timeline is far beyond what I was promised.
The Zoom class — which the school claims is 50% of the course content — was a single session that included a 1-hour break, off-topic material, and a lot of filler. Much of the content was more relevant to AZ licensing, which I didn’t sign up for. Despite the lack of relevance and quality, I was told I’m not eligible for a refund because I completed “half” the course through that Zoom session.
I expected a professional, streamlined process with real support. Instead, I received something that felt disorganized, padded, and not focused on student success. I would not recommend this school to others.

My experience at Transport Training Centres was a great . Racheal was extremely helpful in guiding me through a tough financial situation and made sure I got the best training for my money I had already invested, and Brendan was easygoing instructor who simplified the yard work and made learning much easier. I truly appreciate both of them for their support

A Training Experience That Redefines Excellence – Transport Training Centres of Canada

If you’re serious about entering the heavy equipment or transport industry—and I mean serious—then Transport Training Centres of Canada isn’t just the right choice… it’s the only choice.

From the very first phone call, you know this place is built different. The staff—from the front desk to the instructors—are professional, responsive, and deeply committed to student success. The moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, respected, and taken seriously.

Let’s start with the training team. These instructors are in a league of their own. Every trainer I worked with was knowledgeable, experienced, and patient. They don’t just tell you what to do—they explain why, they make sure you understand it, and they push you to be better every single day. You’re not just learning to operate machinery—you’re learning how to operate it safely, skillfully, and with confidence. This is elite instruction by people who care deeply about the quality of professionals they put into the workforce.

The equipment is immaculate. I trained on backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, and dump trucks, and every single machine was in peak condition. Regularly maintained. Clean. Powerful. And yes—air-conditioned. That may seem like a small thing until you’re in the cab for hours in the sun, and then it becomes a game-changer. They take pride in their fleet, and it shows.

Safety is not just a box they check—it’s a culture here. You’re taught to respect the equipment, the environment, and your fellow operators. Every lesson is grounded in real-world safety standards. As someone who takes this career seriously, that meant everything to me.

Access and scheduling? Flawless. They run multiple campuses—Barrie, Thorold, and Cambridge—so you’re not limited by geography. Booking time was incredibly easy. They respect your schedule, and they make sure you get your seat time without delays. I never felt like I was waiting around for something to happen—they kept me moving, learning, and progressing.

The secretarial and administrative team deserves their own praise. Payment was simple, paperwork was smooth, and communication was consistent. If I ever had a question or concern, I got an answer right away. They made the whole process seamless, so I could focus on what mattered: becoming the best operator I can be.

And let me tell you this—when I say this is the best training program in Canada, I mean it. I’ve seen other places, I’ve heard the stories, and none of them come close to what TTCC offers. This isn’t a course; it’s a career accelerator. It’s the kind of experience that sets you apart in the job market. Employers will know you were trained here. The name carries weight—and it deserves to.

To the owners, if you’re reading this: thank you. Thank you for running a facility that truly understands what quality training looks like. Thank you for investing in your equipment, your staff, and your students. What you’ve built isn’t just a school—it’s a launching pad for professionals who want to do it right.

Paid $1700 for 2 classes even though I already had my Z or air brakes. First class which took me 2-3 months to get because a secretary (Courtney Mifflin) quit and didn't bother telling anyone about my enrolment. The first class that I did ultimately get in September, the instructor during a great majority of the class was talking trash about hindu/indian drivers. The 2nd class was good. The instructor did his best. Road test was not given until another 3 months after the 2nd only good class. failed road test miserably. this is the worst experience I have ever had with something I have paid for. I left the country from November to late March and came back asking for a road test which was not given to me until June asking for almost 500 dls to do the test again. What a joke this whole thing was.

If you, TTCC, would like to invesitage, simply look for my first email last June 2025 and all the emails after that.

Kevin is an outstanding instructor who truly cares about his students’ success. He’s patient, supportive, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. Kevin’s passion for teaching and his calm approach made learning both enjoyable and stress-free. I’m so grateful for his guidance and would recommend him to anyone looking to start a career in trucking.

I cannot recommend this school enough! From the start of class with Chris, who taught and shared his many experiences with us, he was an encouraging and engaging teacher. Jackie, who handled the administrative work and was my first contact, made the transition into the learning environment smooth with her warm, passionate, welcoming personality. Finally, Brent, who did my in-truck training, I couldn’t have asked for anyone more experienced or better; he supported me through challenges in a very supportive way, he made the learning experience enjoyable and engaged me the entire time; he also helped build the passion for starting my truck driving career. This team is the BEST, and I am grateful I had them throughout the process!! Thank you, Treon

My son and I took the DZ training at the Hamilton location. Jacquie is truly a cat herder. My son and I had some scheduling issues.. Jacquie with her knowledge of student requirements and level of instruction was able to manipulate the schedule with the least amount of disruption.
Brent and Brendan were our two driving instructors. Both were professional in their teaching still. Their experience in the industry showed through every time they engaged with us in the work environment.
All three of your employees have a desire for their students to succeed.
Thank you for the experience. Both myself and my son were successful in obtaining our DZ licences.
