Pretty shameless to claim waste prevention as their reason for freezing almost expired meat to sell at their regular price (which is notoriously high for Ingersoll).
Mark it down as a discount and they will never be wasted.

Please do a check on the food safety of your cooked rotisserie chickens. I bought one on Tuesday and got salmonella poisoning. 2 stars because the chicken still tasted pretty good

This store has gone down hill. They don't carry alot of products now that you used to be able to get. Their prices are so ridiculously high for what little you get. Some products if you don't use them in a day or two have gone bad. This store needs to do alot better.

Good grocer and decent selection, rather pricey but you get what you pay for in my opinion. Lots of parking and plenty of options for dietary restrictions and health foods. The pet food section could be improved a little but all in all no major complaints.

Great selection but.... There are way too many large displays blocking flow of traffic in aisles. I went on a Saturday. There was only one till open along with self checkout, the line up went all the way back to the freezer section and no other cashier was called up. Unfortunately this is a regular occurrence with this store.

Today I visited independent in Ingersoll as I usually do. I’ve noticed a lot of elderly working there lately. My cashier was Bob a very nice elderly gentleman. My problem was with the manager and how rude she was to Bob for no reason. He had to call her over for my order and he gave a little wave to her. When she approached I was in shock when she said out loud to Bob don’t wave at me don’t ever do that again. I apologized to Bob for having to work for such a b…h as did other customers behind me. She belittled that poor man in front of everyone. On my way out of the store I told her in not such a quiet voice how rude she was for speaking to him the way she did. We are to respect the elderly especially in this day and age when they have to work not because they want to but because they have to. There is no excuse for her behaviour. Really sad that this is allowed to occur

Nearly every time I go into this store I see expired or rotten products. Selling for regular price too. The food waste at this store is absolutely disgusting and beyond any other grocery store I’ve been to. I’ve complained multiple times about this and have not seen any actual changes. It’s terrible that food from this grocery store will sooner sit and rot before being marked down or donated.

I love this store. I can buy fruits and veggies and they last a week. A bit expensive but you have to pay for quality.
