Very nice facilities for students. There are restaurant, Starbucks, printing service, pharmacy, desks for studying etc. inside the building!! It's a very convenient place to do many things!!

Lively Place. Never seen so many Multi-cultural young people in such a small stretch of landmass. University infrastructure seems good too. Lot of place to eat and stuff.

Fair November Artisan Christmas Show is happening from Nov 16-19, 2023 in the U of G University Centre building. Excellent quality and assortment of arts and crafts including great food. Love the show and all it has to offer for Christmas gift giving. Something for everyone - wood, stained glass, fused glass, leather, pottery, bath and body, metal sculpture, jewelry, gnomes, hot sauces, tarts, jams/jellies, cheesecakes...the assortment is amazing. There is no admission charge which is rare for a show offering such high quality vendors. Worth the trip!

There are places that anchor us to certain chapters of our lives, and for me, the University Centre at the University of Guelph is one such place. Every time I find myself back in Guelph, an inexplicable pull draws me to this iconic building. It's as if the walls, the floors, and the very air within it hold fragments of my past, waiting to be revisited.

Two decades might have passed, but the memories are as fresh as if they happened yesterday. I can still feel the biting cold of those snowy, windy winters as I waited for the bus, the warmth of the building offering a comforting embrace against the chill. The bustling corridors, filled with the chatter of students, the shared laughter, the exchanged notes, and the hurried goodbyes between classes - all these moments come flooding back.

But it's not just the busy days that linger in my mind. I recall one summer visit when the University Centre was almost eerily quiet. The silence was profound, yet in that stillness, I could hear the echoes of countless conversations, debates, and laughter from years gone by. It was as if the very soul of the place was sharing its stories with me, reminding me of the vibrant tapestry of experiences that had unfolded within its confines.

The University of Guelph, and especially the University Centre, will always hold a special place in my heart. It's more than just a building; it's a repository of memories, a testament to the formative years that shaped me, and a timeless reminder of the journey I've been on.

There are a lot of activities in the center including student registration, study areas, dentist’s office, coffee shops, food court, graduate student lounge, faculty lounge and many others. The walks in front of the centers are beautiful.
