We love this spot. Water, power no sewer but the sani is by the park. Stocked fishing pond. Huge playground. Best of all, plenty of play room for our dogs! There's a long, public access road right beside the park that is very quiet. At the end is the dirt bike track but we've only heard them down there once and for just a couple of hours. $30 a nite. Totally worth it for our dogs.

I enjoyed camping here with the camper trailer (wasn’t expect full service); the water and power hook ups worked well for me, and the Sani station was clean. It wasn’t overcrowded and the fountain with stocked pond was gorgeous.

The campground itself is nice, got a nest area for kids to play in but the trout pond had dead minnows and dead fish in the pond, very gross.

Overnighted here, clean and easy parking, mainly pull through sites.
Could be improved by adding running water toilets, instead of porta potties.
No shade.
Price is 30$ Self registration for electricity and water.
A must...visit the coffee shop in town......Tall Timber Coffee.

This campground is clean and well cared for. The individual campsites are well separated with wide grass dividers with a campfire spot and a picnic table. Bring your own wood. There are small trees planted but for now there is no shade for the RVs. The power is 30 amps at least so you can run your air conditioner.

There is a gazebo with a couple of picnic tables inside one of the tables is wheelchair accessible the ramp into the gazebo is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs must cross a well-cut lawn to get to the gazebo. There is a pond and water fountain nearby with the pleasant sound of water splashing.

Nice campground. Just two suggestions.

1. Maybe add the area code to the posted phone number for those who wish to pay by phone.

2. Maybe pay more attention to homeless campground residents. The night I camped there, for the six waking hours I was in the campground, a homeless man was carrying on (on one of the sites) with increasingly odd antics, gestures and activities, seemingly surrounded by a vast collection of trash in addition to whatever he slept in, on or under. I didn’t get too close to him, but felt uneasy nevertheless. The next morning (6 C overnight low) he was laying on the grass under whatever covers he had. He may be a kind and harmless person, but one who arrives off the highway doesn’t know. Also, I thought his presence was made more significant by the adjacent playground, which was well used the day I was there.

We stayed at the Town campground for 2 months when we first moved to Valleyview.

Our stay was very peaceful with next to no vehicle traffic. The family-friendly playground, fishpond and nearby off-leash (fenced) dog park are all wonderful additions to the long list of attractions that Valleyview has to offer.
