I am currently enrolled as an Education Assistant (EA) student in the online class, and I can confidently say that Ms. Jen Morrison is the best instructors a student could ever have. She is not only knowledgeable and incredibly informative, but also kind, approachable, and genuinely supportive of every student in her class.

Her teaching style is clear, engaging, and well-organized, making even the most complex topics easy to understand. She always takes the time to ensure that each student feels heard and encouraged, creating a warm and positive learning environment.

If you are hiring an instructor, kindly consider someone who can create a positive and meaningful learning impact on students. Your instructors carry the name and reputation of your school, so it’s important that they uphold high standards of professionalism, teaching quality, and student engagement. Above all, they should be considerate and understanding of their students’ needs. Just like Ms. JEN MORRISON.

I applied for the MOA program through CDI and was later transferred to VACC. I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for a few teachers and staff who really helped me along the way.

First, I want to thank Rituu, the administrator from CDI. She helped me so much with my application and student loan. The days I had to go to CDI in Burnaby were a great experience, and she always took the time to explain everything clearly. She would reach out to me through texts or calls whenever I had questions or when she had something important to share. One evening, she called to let me know there was an open spot for the November 2025 intake. At first, I said I would wait until January 2026, but later I realized it was better to start early. She was happy to help me reapply and worked with Lewis to get everything sorted again.

Aneela was the instructor I had the longest. She was kind, patient, and very open-minded. She explained things so clearly that no one really had many questions. Since I was an IT student (no knowledge or experience with medical), I struggled with medical terminology, but she understood and supported me. I especially liked how she told us create a chart to collect all the terminology we learned—it’s something I can always go back to and use to teach myself.

Dr. Neneng took the time to make sure we really understood everything we needed to know as future MOAs. She always had stories to share that were related to the lessons, which made class more interesting and engaging. She encouraged us to be on time and reminded us not to waste our time or money by skipping class. She truly cared about our success and always did review sessions before exams to help us feel prepared. She’s honestly the nicest Filipino teacher I’ve ever had.

Even though I only had four days with Jacquie, she made a big impact. She had over 30 students in the class, yet she stayed calm and patient, answering everyone’s questions. I appreciated how she made time for one-on-one sessions. She helped me fix my resume and gave me a better understanding of what employers are looking for. She’s really great at supporting students from different backgrounds.

I only had one day with Jhoram, but I did a mock interview with him and it was a great experience. He told me to stay calm and treat it like a normal conversation. After the interview, he gave me feedback and introduced me to the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result), which was really helpful. He also helped me improve my resume and cover letter.

To all the teachers and staff I mentioned, I’m really grateful for all the support I received. Each of you made a difference in your own way, and I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me.

When I first started my social work class with Shakeel Khan, I had high expectations
but his class went above and beyond what I hoped for. I came in feeling nervous, unsure of what to expect, but Mr. Khan made everything feel comfortable and welcoming right from the start.
His teaching style is clear and easy to follow. There are no interruptions, and the class runs smoothly, which really helps with staying focused and understanding the material. He explains everything in a way that makes it easy to learn, even the harder topics.
What I also love is the classroom environment. The classmates are supportive, and the space feels safe to share and grow. It’s clear that Mr. Khan cares about his students and wants us to succeed. I’m really grateful to be in this class it’s been a great experience. It’s helped me build more confidence in myself, not just as a student, but as a future social worker. I feel supported, encouraged, and motivated to keep learning.

Dr. Neneng is truly one of the most incredible and supportive teachers I have ever had. From the very beginning, her passion for teaching and genuine care for her students was evident in every lesson. She doesn’t just teach; she inspires, encourages, and creates an environment where learning feels engaging and meaningful.

One of the things that sets Dr. Neneng apart is the way she takes the time to connect with each student, ensuring that no one is left behind. She has a unique ability to break down complex concepts in a way that makes sense, always patient, always willing to explain just one more time if needed. Her kindness, encouragement, and belief in our abilities have made a lasting impact on me, not just academically but personally as well.

Having Dr. Neneng as a teacher has been an amazing experience, and I feel incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her. Her dedication and support have made such a difference in my journey, and I know I will carry the lessons and wisdom she has shared with me for years to come. I will truly miss having her as a teacher, but I am so thankful for everything she has taught me. Thank you, Dr. Neneng, for being such a guiding light in my education!

As a new student the staff in the school tend to be positive and have an excellent attitude from on boarding, to student aid, and classes. When you demonstrate that you as a student are truly invested in your own education and success the staff are very willing to come along side you and help your reach your goals. Learning from Dr.Galanto has been a wonderful experience as she is truly invested in the success of her student and is able to take the course material and connect it to real life. Her positive outlook and life experience is an incredible encouragement to do well and always strive for excellence.
