I didn’t have any experience handling long guns before signing up for this course just two weeks ago. After this course though, I feel totally comfortable with all types of rifles now.

The course is fast paced and you’ll get far more out of it by studying the online course materials provided in the welcome email. The class size is limited to 10, which is a really nice size and comfortable to ask questions without feeling like you’re bogging the pace down too much. Samuel keeps the material relevant and has lots of visuals to show how guns and ammunition mechanically work, as well as many examples of what not to do and what happens when things go wrong. Very effective. Overall 10/10. Highly recommend.

Sam was a great teacher! For someone who has had no experience with guns at all I managed to pass both tests with ease. As well as it being informative it was also a really enjoyable experience, he made me feel comfortable and I walked away confident with my abilities. I couldn’t recommend this course enough !

My Dad and I attended the course this weekend with Samuel Lockhart and felt it was very well done and informative. As two newbies with zero experience, we thought the material was presented very efficiently and feel comfortable operating a firearm safely if we ever acquire one for ourselves. The course was very organized and set-up in a way to fully understand how to safely handle a non-restricted and restricted firearm by the end of the course. This removed all myths usually portrayed by the media and films and gave me the tools to be responsible and respectful around firearms. Samuel and his experience was able to make the information practical and digestible which made the course worth every penny. If you're on the sidelines in fear of guns, don't wait and book your course with Samuel as soon as possible.

What a great learning experience with Sam at Lockhart Tactical. I wanted to get my PAL licence and also wanted to learn more about the safe handling of a firearm to feel more comfortable around them. Not only did i become more confident but Sam helped deliver great safety procedures and showed the class the correct ways to safely handle firearms. Samuel Lockhart bar none is one of the best weapons instructors I have had the pleasure to work with after a 35 year military career. He knows his stuff, has an awesome approach to teaching and made sure his students were taught the required lesson plans to understand and qualify on non restricted and restricted weapons.
