I may be biased because I love aviation, but I think this is absolutely the coolest thing you can do on Vancouver Island!

The sensation and serenity of the flight without the noise and vibration of any engine is hard to compare to anything. The views around the airport are stunning in every direction.

The glider looks small but was actually very comfortable even for a 6’3” tall person.

The team and the whole operation is very friendly and chill, but professional and efficient at the same time.

I cannot recommend trying this enough!

Vancouver Island Soaring Centre is something all should visit. Floating on a cloud with the valley floor below dappled with sunlight and dotted with lakes, farms, forests and rivers is exquisite! Warwick made us feel so comfortable as he shared his knowledge about how the plane worked to ensure we felt safe and secure. He is an expert and made it really fun!! The views are stunning and flight is sublime. This is a must-do experience!!! I can’t wait to go next time I’m in town. Locals should go often. Don’t hesitate! Go flying!!!

What an amazing and breathtaking experience!

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to fly like an eagle, gliding silently into the blue sky above Vancouver Island’s incredible scenic landscape, then you won’t want to miss this!

The sense of freedom, exhilaration and bliss is unparalleled.

Yesterday I had the most amazing day flying with Warwick! Gliding is an experience I'd recommend to anyone. Souring around the valley was so beautiful and exhilarating. As a private pilot myself, this really felt like real flying, and I hope to one day return for lessons. Thank you so much VISC, and the rest of the team, who made the day so special.

Not my first flight in a small plane, but my first in a glider. I flew with Christophe, an incredibly talented professional pilot. My flight was fantastic, and Christophe was very personable and informative. I learned so much and had a wonderful time. 1000% recommend.
