I am very disappointed in Velocity Complex. I registered my 7 year old daughter into a beginners class and she was SO excited to get the chance to learn silks. I chose a class which advertises no experience necessary. Avery (the teacher) apparently doesnt have time or patience for children with no experience. She never smiles or offers encouragement. Often times she appears to be annoyed or inconvenienced. She jumps to step 2 or 3 when the kids are still struggling with step 1. When my daughter politely asked for help, she was told "Stop complaining or I will go help other kids" and then walked away from my daughter. I am not sure why she needs to be so rude I talked to her on more than one occasion about how she interacts with my daughter and she informed me "Well, that is my teaching style" and walked away from me too. I am not sure how Velocity has such awesome reviews - it has definately not been the same for my daughter. She has left some classes in tears. No one greets us when we arrive or says bye when we are leaving either. Over all very unwelcoming atmosphere. I regret putting money towards this establishment and am actively searching for something far better for my girl!

Been waiting awhile to write a balanced review. Apparently we picked the wrong teacher according to these other reviews! Avery is short with the kids, looks sour and doesn’t seem to be an experienced or excited teacher. Maybe she’s better with teens? She kept saying she couldn’t slow down for other kids in a beginners class, but I didn’t see progress, just frustrated kiddos! Three is generous here.

My daughter had the opportunity to experience Velocity Complex and partake in their 2024summer intensive & it was a remarkable experience! We live 1.5 hours away and the daily drive was more than worth it! The facility is gorgeous & clean, it was well organized and the programming was phenomenal. She experienced Acro training as-well as Aerial & Cirque training and she had the most memorable time! The best part about it; the staff! Coaches Candace & Avery, were so caring & experienced I felt at ease. Cheri has excellent customer service skills & their photographer AnnaZ captured their experience beautifully! I will definitely be bringing my daughter back for more classes!

Great place. My kids love it there. We did a kids birthday party before signing up for classes.

Other kids from the party also loved it enough to sign up for Acro classes. The instructors are kind and knowledgeable.

We first discovered Velocity Complex for a semi-private when my daughter dancer was looking for some help on her front walkover. It was such a positive experience that the same kid asked to do more, so we signed her up for a summer camp. Well that was amazing too. The younger kid wanted to get in on the action so then we did a 7 year old birthday party. Again, great! Five stars! The staff are engaged and enthusiastic and the facility is fabulous. We are already planning the next time, including my own plans to try the adult acro. I can’t say enough great things about Velocity.

Velocity is such an amazing acro studio in so many ways! The administration is communicative and organized. The space has all of the specialized equipment that the acrobats need, and the space is set up with great consideration of the class activities. The coaches are experienced and engaging with the students, and the class sizes are manageable. My dancers love going here and they have both experienced great improvement in a short period of time. They really love the circus class as well!

Our daughter attends regular classes at Velocity and we are so impressed! The facility is beautiful and clean, the coaching staff is incredible and the owner Cheri is amazing! We recently had our daughters birthday party at Velocity and it was the best birthday party we’ve ever had! The kids loved the combination of Acro and Cirque. The coaches were all energetic and engaging. The kids, and parents had a blast! We would highly recommend Velocity both for classes and for birthday parties!
