Love this place…. Within 24 hrs of arriving at this little piece of heaven…. We saw a mother & father goose and four little ones and the cutest little runt, a turtle at least 1 1/2 feet in diameter, a small herd of four deer and a sweet little fawn, and one possible weasel We are not sure but it was very exciting. Usually we sit and face the inside of the campground and people watch …. But we all sit facing the creek!!! It has been soooo relaxing, watching the wildlife and listening to the rippling stream. A little piece of heaven. ❤️ UPDATE: This morning we witnessed our turtle laying eggs and burying them, then returning to the creek. Bonus…a giant toad hopped through our campsite. What a great 3 days!!!❤️

I was staying in site 8, which was rather narrow and very open. Most campsites I've been at before have a line of trees between each site, we were lucky to have a tree on each corner, so we basically shared a site with our neighbours. As well as the fact that some of the trailer plug ins are on the wrong side of the site to easily back a trailer in. Aside from that It's a nice little campground that's very family oriented, with lots of people walking dogs at all times of day. Great service at the counter, though unfortunately there's no wood delivery. You buy it by the wheelbarrow and bring the barrow back when you've walked the wood to your site.

Arrived late in afternoon and camped overnight . No one else there, only wild turkeys. Great hikes to viewing tower. Souris is sweet town, friendly folks and interesting history.

Very well kept and clean park. Camping and swimming, boat launch, with ample play areas and parking. Easy access and walking distance from downtown Souris. Recommended visit!
To the west is a small campground and swimming pool. Lots are generous, with standard services, though navigating a long vehicle between the closely clustered trees can be challenging.

Very well tended to park with a boat lauch and plenty of areas to fish, kayak or enjoy the view. There is also a well tended to walking path with lookout tower.

An absolute jewel for the Town of Souris. Beautiful camp spots. Plus the pool with slides all within walking distance from camp site and to downtown Souris .

It's an OK little campground within easy walking distance of downtown. Some of the sites are kind of tight with the trees. It would be nice if they cleaned the garbage out of the creek behind site 52. The sewer drain on site 52 is a long way away and almost useless. We just used one on another site when we left.
