Obwohl die Saison praktisch zu Ende war, hatte die Visitor noch geöffnet. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und waren sofort in einem netten Gespräch über dies und das. Wir konnten auch noch etwas Infomaterial mitnehmen. Den Camper konnten wir dort parken und entspannt nach Smithers "Downtown" gehen

Couldn't have had a more derpy experience here ?
Stopped in for some advice on shops and local trails, and to buy a map.

Centre has some nice, older postcards, so I grabbed a few of those (cash only, fyi); they had some other nice gift items, but those got left behind, because cash only.

Was told they don't have maps but I could probably buy one at a gas station or somewhere? *Sigh* Took a pic of the highway map on the counter and left it at that.

Came back in, after running out to the car for cash, and had to wait for over 15min while the attendant talked to a local business owner about how to treat tourists, and direct them towards local businesses, and get them to spend money in the community; while I was waiting to spend money in the community.

Was planning on spending the rest of the morning walking about and shopping, but was honestly so baffled/frustrated by the complete cluelessness of this that I hit the drive through and made my way out of town.

It is always nice to find tourist information and able to pick up paper pamphlets to plan our holiday. The young lady was very helpful.

We got information on what we were looking for. This place has a lot of fliers for you to go through. The staff was ok and directed us to the leaflets we should be looking at. It didn't seem like they were very enthusiastic about people visiting the place.
