The school is quite good in terms of infrastructure, as it has some of the best course choices in the lower mainland area, however there are a couple of issues with the environment/teachers. Firstly there are a handful of incredibly woke teachers, which i wont name for the sake of not sounding petty. But these teachers repeatedly discuss their own political biases in class and try to influence students. There is also an excess of pride flags/diversity symbols in the school but not enough focus of academic/career-related achievement. There have also been multiple issues regarding the bathrooms in the schools, as kids vape in there all the time and the staff doesn't seem to have much control over it. Other than that, its a great school in terms of opportunities and course option as you have the chance to try out many different things and find out what you really enjoy.

Former student from almost a decade ago, and the school was AMAZING when I was there.

I have a younger sister there right now and the photos she sends me daily of half naked students, students wearing tails and literally crawling on all 4s, is insane. The stories of teachers outright defending bullies, picking on kids who don't learn as fast as others. It's all ridiculous.

For Christ's sake, they had a teacher bring a gun to school for some history lesson? But they didn't clear it with the school so they had a full lockdown happen due to a teacher's idiocy, all the while my sister was locked in the bathroom scared for her life. And this whole thing? It made the news.

This school used to be amazing. It used to be the home to diversity, inclusion and education. It's gone so far downhill that I'm surprised kids and their parents don't pull them and put them at R E Mountain or another school. Smh.

Fantastic school. Ignore all these bad reviews by all these students who didn't have a good time - has nothing to do with the quality of the school. The vast majority of the teachers are hard working and genuinely care about the success of the students.

Best high school I could have ever attended. This school spirit is so unique and strong. I was so lucky to be here. It is also a great place to make good friends and meet new people who appreciate individuality and equality. I highly recommend it. GATOR NATION!!

The soccer field is nice, but teams other than Walnut Grove students come and train and this needs to be stopped. Only Walnut Grove students should use Walnut Grove's soccer field.

First impression: diversity and gender posters everywhere, but nothing indicating academic achievements. I’m not saying there are no achievements, but they seem to be not a priority.

Parent review: Admin staff need to treat students and parents with a little more respect. The 2 times a year I go there they ALWAYS act like they hate their jobs. You are in a position to inspire youth. It's not hard...put a smile on your face and show some customer service please 🙂
