Booked online January 30th , 2025 at noon for my iPhone 13 Pro battery. I called the store that night before to make sure the battery was in stock. Then today January 31, 2025 I show up to have the tech go into the back and say the batteries were recalled and not currently in stock. It’s very hard to support local Apple Store retailer that don’t supply proper information. Edit: we talked on the phone about the situation and how they did have my battery put to the side. However, within that time I had booked at the Local Apple Store at West Edmonton mall, I was greeted and serviced very fast. They explained any concerns I had to ensure everything with no problems and wait time. You did mention to remove my review but I feel I will give a 2 star because you did give me a call back and told me the part was really there. I believe when you have competition within the area, that you need to be much better to receive a good review and business reputation. Might need some process improvement to not have similar repair warranty issues to occur.

Outstanding service!! I brought in a 2006 iPOD and asked them to do a data recovery on it. After much problem solving, they were able to find a way to retrieve the data (photos) from it. They were great communicators throughout the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Jessica and management REFUSED to unlock mobile device management set up on my brand new IPhone 15 Pro Max even though I OWN the phone. They protect the seller while they are clearly being shady and I reported it to the local police against them. The only solution they gave me was to trade the phone in and pay the price for a new phone from them OR use the phone AS-IS with compromised security and limited use which I can’t even transfer any data.
They said it was my fault for getting scammed for buying a phone without an invoice. Very unfortunate…
Do not buy products from this place. If you lose your invoice, you’re DONE.

My first time at the store and we were completely taken aback by the behaviour and information asked of us.

We went in for our teenage daughter’s screen repair.

We made an appointment via Apple for 3pm. We got there on time. We were finally seen at 3:15-3:20pm.

Contrary to what we are used to with the Apple Store, and keep in mind this is for a minor’s phone, they asked for an address, phone number etc, and HER personal password. Yes they asked for her password. We have NEVER been asked for this at at an Apple Store.

We were told to come at 5pm to pick up our phone.

We came back on the nose at 5pm. We drove 30 minutes back. No phone call to say otherwise.

We walk in and go to the service desk.

“It’s doing an update. Come back at 5:50pm.” I explain we drove 30 minutes. He tells us to get a coffee and wait.

We come back at 5:45pm. Walk towards the desk. A man yells at us extremely rudely from the side “Can you BACK AWAY from the desk?”

We move 10 feet back. We say we are there to pick up our phone that we were told to come back for at this time. “Well wait.”

We wait. We never once were asked to approach the desk. They bring us our phone, in the middle of the store, standing there awkwardly “your phone has been reset, erased. This doesn’t happen often.”

So they ask for personal information, my daughter’s password, get super aggressive when we simply went to pick up our phone (later understanding they had reset her phone), and don’t bother with the courtesy of telling us something is wrong. They also are late for the appointment we made and yell at customer’s to back up from the service desk when you simply go to pick up your phone.

Brutal.

Edit to add: I did talk to a manger via phone. They asked to have the review taken down. I expressed when they could put in writing that they no longer have my teenage daughter’s personal information including passwords that I would consider.

I received no such email as promised.

The worst technical support I've experience from an "Apple" location. I spent 15 minutes waiting for the lady to find my appointment as she did not know how to use the system. I told her my issue and she tried to respond with "I recommend a $25 dollar cleaning." I responded no, as my device is under warranty and having a hardware issue. She got frustrated and walked away and passed me to a warehouse worker. I walked him through diagnostics and it found 2 errors that needed to be fixed. His answer was "we don't have the parts, come back Monday or go to the Apple Store." What a waste of an hour with people who know less about Apple products than I do. While I was there I seen them unnecessarily up charge two non technical people on services they really did not need. Stay away.

Edit - went to Apple Store, they are already swapping out my broken device.

This 5 star review is for Emrys. She was absolutely amazing and fixed every issue with my iPhone. Her service was the best I’ve had in over a decade. If the management team sees this review, please give her a raise. Hard work never goes unnoticed!

I was given an iMac by a relative who could not recall his password. I wasn't sure if it was possible to reset and then be able to use the computer. I went to WestWorld for advice. The staff indicated that they may be able to reset however the data on the computer would likely be erased. I told them to proceed. A couple of days later the job was done. The staff were knowledgeable, the store was well laid out and clean, parking was great and I found their prices reasonable. They also sell iPhones and I noticed they were selling an iMac similar year to mine for $499.00. Much easier to access this store and quicker service than the Apple store in West Edmonton Mall.
