We moved to Strathmore almost 2 years ago. We heard amazing things about Wheatland and their teachers. My son has ADHD and some learning difficulties and the staff have been great with helping him. Not only have they been so welcoming to my son but they have welcomed myself and my family with open arms. They have made volunteering in the school extremely easy and accepted me when I wanted to help the school in a bigger capacity.
They are welcoming to all

Wheatland Elementary is an absolutely wonderful school! The staff are totally amazing. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful teachers though-out our children’s learning career. The principle and vice principle have both been wonderful. We love the STEAM program the school offers. The Leader in Me program is a wonderful program that teaches kids from early on how to be a leader and be successful in their academics and relationships with others. Wheatland’s has been a role model in academic education, and also a role model for instilling important values in our children that will guide them throughout their life. As a parent I have had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer and feel so appreciated for everything we do as volunteers. Wheatland has been an amazing experience for our children and our family. We are forever grateful for our experience here.

This school is the best for my 7 year old daughter who has a great time and a very amazing teacher called Mrs. Henry. Also this is my youngest son DJ's first school and he is going to kindergarten in 2024. My daughter's name is Paree and my son is 4 and a half years old. Me and my wife were going there for my son and daughter's Christmas Concert. First song was the Pre-K song "The Bells on Santa's Sleigh". Next was 2B singing the famous song by Charley Pride " Christmas In My Hometown". Pre-K is DJ's class and 2B is my daughter Paree's class.
