Looks like an interesting place for events. We enjoyed our time there at a Steve Elliott concert for remembrance day.

The parking lot was nice and airy and clean, but I did not find it easy to know exactly which parking stalls I could park in until I found my way into the building and the elevator had the allocated ? parking stalls posted (#1-43 and #53-70). It's free for the first 4 hrs when visiting the White Rock Recreation Centre for visitors. It was not at all clear WHERE the elevator was located, since it was behind a big wall and hidden away. The signage in this parkade is not good for first time visitors to help them find where the elevator into the lobby of community centre is located in the underground. They need better signage about which parking spots are FREE for the community centre visitors and better visual helps on how to get to the elevator from inside the underground ?. Otherwise, it's a very nice community centre!

Great little area to visit. Lots of shops. Little nooks and crannies loved it!. Everything you need in one place. Shopping,eating,clothing,hair,nails for Mena and women. Pizza. Winners, save on.

Earlier this year (2023), after I had a small stroke my Family Physician and Fraser Valley Falls Prevention Staff suggested I consider taking Chair Yoga classes once a week at the White Rock Community Centre. I did enrol in this activity. Initially my Balance was compromised. After joining Chair Yoga Classes, and working diligently, my Balance has improved considerably. I am delighted, to say the least. It is a great class, the members are lovely people, and our Instructor Lynn is a wonderful lady who guides us through our lessons with kindness and gentleness, while there is no pressure placed on anyone.

This community centre is open for fitness classes and registration is required. Now into our 6th year, we also support the annual parking pass program. We like this place.

This is a very active centre but somewhat limited in facilities. I have been to functions for senior citizens by CARP and I am outside in a booth for the WR Farmers Market. The staff has always been supportive and helpful.

After checking website for hours of operation and updates, I just made an effort to acquire the unpopular and no-longer-free parking permits for White Rock residents. Due to inactivity at the front desk, the employee "left for a few hours," and I was asked to come back again sometime. I now have to return at some later date and take yet another day off work for this. Another let down by the City of White Rock... 🙁
