The owners, a lovely family, are there to offer book recommendations or chat about the latest literary trends. I go there often to browse, but often find something I want to read!

The selection of books is thoughtfully curated, blending bestsellers with hidden gems, classic literature, and a wonderful children’s corner. They sell local authors books, which is a fantastic way to support the community and discover new voices. I love finding an author signed book which is always an exciting addition to my book collection!

What sets Yooneek Books apart is the personalized service. The owners take time to get to know their customers and go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for.

Cute little bookstore. I purchased books for my teen for the holidays but she ended up getting doubles of some of the books at a book exchange. The owner was really accommodating and allowed for a store credit on the duplicates. Thank you Rae ❤️

Talk about a unique bookstore right here in Okotoks! The book I needed was not a "common" book but they ordered it for me no problem.

This store is a treasure! It is the only bookstore here in Okotoks and has a great selection of books. Great atmosphere, super cute, and customer service is top notch. If they don't have the book, they will work on ordering it for you! Definitely a place you want to stop by and take a look! Now i don't have to go into the city for books.

Finally got the chance to go in this week, and loved the cozy atmosphere in Yooneek Books. The kids section is well stocked and full of great gems. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I did not see what I was looking for and they were able to provide the option of ordering. A day later, I called in to add to the order, and there was no conflict at all! I am excited this local shop is here, and our mini book club, will likely many visits here!

My only concern with this place is that my wish list just expanded exponentially, and that was with being 5 feet in the door!

I'm sure this place will have great success as Okotokians discover Yooneek Books. Great local business!
